Operating in Nepal since 2017, HPF focuses on three key thematic areas: Fundamental, Academic, and Empowerment. The Fundamental component includes school infrastructure, facilities, coffee farming, and micro-entrepreneurship. The Micro Entrepreneurship Program (MEP) aims to support income-generating opportunities for parents of school children, thereby enhancing their ability to continue their children's education.
Role: Enterprise Development Coordinator (EDC)
As the Enterprise Development Coordinator at HPF Nepal, I oversee the Micro Enterprise Development model, providing orientation to stakeholders and preparing business development frameworks. My role includes conducting Business Opportunity Assessments, offering technical support, and facilitating income generation activities to improve education quality. I assist in developing policies and guidelines, coordinate training sessions, and work closely with entrepreneurs, school committees, and local governments. Additionally, I advocate for budget support, identify potential micro-enterprise activities, and document best practices and program reports.
